Hire a Micro campervan in New Zealand - its similar to the capsule hotel in Japan. It's a New Zealand hire car in the day time, and changes to an original New Zealand camper van at night.

Need to cook dinner?A gas cooker, cooking/eating utensils, water bottle.. Micro camper vans our most compact camper van for travel in New Zealand.

Daytime – Standard car, outdoor table/chairs and outside kitchen.

Evening – Fold over double bed, close curtains and attach awning to rear door. You can sleep in the campervan with the rear door open (with tent attached), or with the rear door closed. Attach 240 volt power if staying in holiday park and all weather light.

Insurance
The standard insurance excess is $1,500; this is the maximum amount you would have to pay for damage to the vehicle. Full cover is provided for fire and theft.

Collusion Damage Waiver (optional)
Cost: $15 per day or $280 per hire.
This option gives you a zero insurance excess, which means if you have an accident, even if it was your fault, it will cost nothing.
